Nothing.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s because without those warm bodies\u2026without foot traffic coming in and out of the franchisees\u2019 location:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Credit <a title=\"credit card processors\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/card-processing-fees-can-make-or-break-a-franchise\">card processing<\/a> machines won\u2019t process transactions<\/li>\n<li>Cash register drawers won\u2019t open<\/li>\n<li>Employees won\u2019t have enough work to do<\/li>\n<li>Rent won\u2019t get paid<\/li>\n<li>Bank loan payments won\u2019t be mailed out<\/li>\n<li>New inventory won\u2019t be ordered<\/li>\n<li>Franchise owners dreams won\u2019t be realized<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Etc.<\/p>\n<p>In other words, things can get real ugly-real fast, without a steady stream of warm bodies coming into a franchise business location. That\u2019s why <b>warm bodies are needed immediately for franchise locations<\/b>. <i>Your franchise location<\/i>. From the minute you open your doors for business.<\/p>\n<p>One more thing: Empty stores aren&#8217;t very enticing.<\/p>\n<p>Think about it. When you\u2019re out and about, if you had the choice of stopping in a store that was busy\u2026like an <a title=\"apple store\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/apple-retail-stores-apple-franchise\">Apple retail store<\/a> for example, which is not a franchise operation by the way, or a store that had 1-2 people in it, which one would you enter?<\/p>\n<p>Another great example that has to do with foot traffic and human psychology is this one\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s say that you\u2019re travelling with your family-you\u2019re on vacation. Everyone in the car is getting hungry, and you\u2019re driving through some medium-sized towns. Do you:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Stop at a restaurant that has 2-3 cars in the parking lot and almost no one inside<\/li>\n<li>Stop in a restaurant that has a packed parking lot and not an empty table in sight<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>I\u2019d guess that unless your family members were starting to get light-headed because they\u2019re so hungry, you\u2019d try to find a parking space in the parking lot of the busy restaurant. It\u2019s human nature.<\/p>\n<p>My dad taught me a cool trick he used when he was out of town on business-which was a lot. He said to not only to look for a restaurant in an unfamiliar town that was busy, but to scope out the cars that were in the parking lot of the busy restaurant. If the parking lot had a good amount of nice cars with local license plates, he felt that it was a good bet that the restaurant was good. To him it was a positive sign because upper-class local residents were spending their money there. Try it; it works.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Warm Bodies Needed Immediately For Franchise Locations<\/h2>\n<p>Now that you know what light foot traffic would mean to your franchise business, and how some potential customers decide whether or not to enter your establishment, let\u2019s get down to business. Let\u2019s get down to the business of getting more foot traffic into your <strong>franchise location<\/strong>. Let&#8217;s find you some nice, warm bodies.<\/p>\n<p>One thing you can do that works\u2026no matter what your retail or food-service business sells-is to offer <a title=\"seminars on franchise ownership\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/the-franchise-millionaire-seminar\">free seminars<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Customers love free things. Customers also like getting educated, because it makes them feel better about their purchases.<\/p>\n<p>Offering a free seminar\u2026heck, you can call it a <i>workshop<\/i>, is one way to get people in your door.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, I wrote an entire article on getting foot traffic into a retail location for <b>Small Business Trends<\/b>.
