Seriously: Today\u2019s potential franchise owners are a nervous bunch\u2026and rightly so. Most of them take a long time to make their decisions. That\u2019s because buying a franchise is a big deal. And, most people don\u2019t know how to do it<\/a>. (Correctly<\/i>)<\/p>\n

Buying a franchise\u2026going into business, takes courage.<\/p>\n

It also takes a lender that\u2019s willing to say yes<\/a>. But I\u2019m not going there <\/i>today.<\/p>\n

Instead, I\u2019m going to share some good news about one of my marketing clients. Jill\u2019s a new franchise owner who wishes she would have done it sooner<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Window Genie Awards A New Franchise<\/h2>\n

I’ve known Rik, the CEO of WG<\/a> for a long time. I like the guy, even though it seems that he\u2019s always talking down to me. (He\u2019s 6\u20196<\/i>)<\/p>\n

Enough about Rik for now. Let\u2019s fly down to North Carolina. That\u2019s where Jill Fuller<\/strong> just opened her Window Genie franchise.<\/p>\n

From a press release<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Window Genie announces the grand opening of its newest location in Durham\/Chapel Hill, NC on Monday March 17th. Jill Fuller is the owner\/operator. Window Genie is a nationally ranked home services franchise offering window cleaning, window tinting, pressure washing, gutter cleaning and much more. Window Genie of Durham\/Chapel Hill will service the surrounding areas of Carrboro, Hillsborough, Chapel Hill and Durham. This is Window Genie\u2019s third location in the greater Raleigh area.<\/i><\/p>\n

Before taking the plunge into franchise ownership, Fuller spent 7 years in manufacturing, where she oversaw national accounts for a large home improvement store. \u201cIt\u2019s been a great experience<\/i>,\u201d Fuller said, \u201cbut I’ve always wanted a bit more ownership in what I did every day. I finally was able to step out of my comfort zone and seriously pursue my dream of business ownership<\/i>.\u201d<\/p>\n

I\u2019m glad you did it, Jill\u2026.that \u201cstepping out of your comfort zone<\/i>\u201d thing.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s so nice to hear. Some franchisors do things right, and I\u2019m trying to make sure more of them do<\/a>, each and every day.<\/p>\n

About Doing It Sooner<\/h2>\n

Some of the people I’ve worked with over the years couldn’t \u201cdo it sooner<\/i>.\u201d<\/p>\n

They just weren\u2019t ready. That\u2019s okay. I\u2019ll repeat it: Buying a franchise is a big deal<\/b>.<\/p>\n

I know for a fact that:<\/p>\n
