One very popular sector in franchising is the cleaning sector<\/a>. It includes commercial cleaning and residential cleaning. That kind of makes it a double-sector.<\/p>\n

Cleaning Franchises<\/h2>\n

Most of the people I work 1-on-1 with quickly discount cleaning franchises. They think they’ll<\/em> be the ones doing the cleaning. Or, they just want something sexier<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Now, I would never own a cleaning franchise<\/a><\/strong>. I have my reasons. One of them has to do with having to manage employees. Been there-done that. That’s me. Some people love having several employees under them. That’s what makes franchising a great industry. You can pick and choose what you want your business to have…or what you want it to do.<\/p>\n

For example, if you like calling on corporate accounts, a commercial<\/a><\/strong> cleaning franchise is the way to go. It’s a sales-heavy business. Your role as an owner-if you buy a large territory, is to sell your cleaning services to businesses in your area.<\/p>\n

If you don’t like the “sales<\/em>” part, a residential cleaning franchise is definitely the way to go. Early on-as you launch your new franchise business, you’ll use direct marketing…things like direct mail, to get your phones ringing. You book cleaning appointments, and then focus on customer service and customer retention. You don’t do the cleaning<\/em>.<\/p>\n
