I didn&#8217;t <em>mean<\/em> to.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Yes I did<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>I took you there&#8230;to a place of despair, because you <em>needed<\/em> to visit it. You needed to feel it.<\/p>\n<p>To feel like you had no hope.<\/p>\n<p>To imagine what it would be like-what it would <em>really<\/em> be like <a href=\"https:\/\/franking7.tumblr.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">if you bought a franchise<\/a>, and had no customers.<\/p>\n<p>To visualize what it would be like to be in your place of business, all alone.<\/p>\n<p>Doomed even.<\/p>\n<p>Embarrassed&#8230;well actually&#8230;that will come later.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>When you have to tell your landlord that you can&#8217;t pay your rent.<\/li>\n<li>When you have to tell your banker that you can&#8217;t pay your loan.<\/li>\n<li>When you have tell your spouse-and maybe even your kids, that you have to close your business down because you have no customers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Again:<\/strong> <em>No<\/em> <em>customers<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Back<\/h2>\n<p>You&#8217;re back now.<\/p>\n<p>Open your eyes. Slowly, now. Look around you.
