I remember when computers…ones you could set up in a business office, were starting to get popular. They frightened me.<\/p>\n

DOS. Floppy Disks. Bytes. Memory. I had no idea what those things were. Heck, I didn’t even know what “electronic mail<\/em>” was. \u00a0How would I ever be able to understand all of this “new<\/em>” technology? How would I ever be able to set a computer up? Who would show me how to use a computer? And, what was the “World Wide Web<\/em>?”<\/p>\n

The World Wide Web:<\/p>\n

“The World Wide Web is a system of Internet servers that support specially formatted documents. The documents are formatted in a markup language called HTML (HyperText Markup Language) that supports links to other documents, as well as graphics, audio, and video files. Local franchise owners have the ability to send out targeted text messages announcing sales and promotions to customers who have opted in to receive them.
