That I don&#8217;t work for jerky bosses anymore. That I don&#8217;t work for idiots. <strong>Nincompoops<\/strong>. Losers.<\/p>\n<p>I could go on&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>But, I won&#8217;t. Because <b>this post is about you<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>About <em>your<\/em> pain. Your <em>career<\/em> pain.<\/p>\n<p>So, if you&#8217;re sick of working for people that;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Don&#8217;t appreciate you<\/li>\n<li>Treat you like dirt<\/li>\n<li>Are verbally abusive<\/li>\n<li>Micromanage you<\/li>\n<li>Are selfish<\/li>\n<li>Are horrible business people<\/li>\n<li>Won&#8217;t pay you more money<\/li>\n<li>Really <em>are<\/em> nincompoops<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Then keep reading.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/franchisebusinessuniversity.com\/find-the-right-franchise-money-making-franchise-the-ultimate-online-franchise-course\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><br \/>\nGo Here<\/a> -If Working At A Place That Literally Sucks The Life Out Of You Isn\u2019t Working Anymore<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Can You Do It?<\/h2>\n<p>You&#8217;re on a <strong><a title=\"franchise blogs\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/blog\">franchise blog<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Having stated that, you&#8217;d be correct to assume that I&#8217;m going to <em>suggest<\/em> <b>franchise ownership<\/b> as a career option.<\/p>\n<p>But, can you do it?<\/p>\n<p>Can you realistically buy a franchise in the near future?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wait:<\/strong> I&#8217;m getting a little ahead of myself.<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s not talk about <em>buying<\/em> a franchise yet. Let&#8217;s just talk about the <em>idea<\/em>&nbsp;of <strong><a title=\"buying a franchise tips\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/buying-franchise-will-make-look-like-amateur\">buying a franchise<\/a><\/strong> for now.<\/p>\n<p>Okay?<\/p>\n<p>I certainly don&#8217;t want to get you nervous.<\/p>\n<p>But, I <em>do<\/em> want to get you thinking&#8230;<strong>thinking about your miserable freaking job<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>And, how bad you want out.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/entrance-698825_640.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-17794\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/entrance-698825_640.jpg\" alt=\"sick and tired of working for idiots\" width=\"687\" height=\"435\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>This Is The Typical Move<\/h2>\n<p>Most people, when faced with serious career pain, move on to<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/away-352283_640.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-17795\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/away-352283_640.jpg\" alt=\"greener career pastures\" width=\"679\" height=\"490\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/away-352283_640.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/away-352283_640-320x231.jpg 320w, https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/away-352283_640-620x448.jpg 620w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 679px) 100vw, 679px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>(<em>Greener pastures<\/em>)<\/p>\n<p>They find a new job.<\/p>\n<p><b>A job that promises:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>More room for growth<\/p>\n<p><b>Or<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Unlimited potential<\/p>\n<p><b>Or<\/b><\/p>\n<p>1st-class training<\/p>\n<p><b>Or<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Stock options<\/p>\n<p><b>Or<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Whatever is currently in vogue with regards to attracting &#8220;<em>top talent<\/em>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Sound familiar? Maybe a little <em>too<\/em> familiar?<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s because it&#8217;s because it&#8217;s the norm.<\/p>\n<p>Leaving one job for a better job is completely normal.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re married, an upward move&#8230;or a move out of a dysfunctional job situation into a more functional one-is usually supported (<em>and sometimes encouraged<\/em>) by your spouse. They&#8217;re &#8220;<em>typical<\/em>&#8221; moves made by hundreds of thousands of people every year.<\/p>\n<p>You probably know a few people who have done it. To go down a pretty non-traditional career path? To go down a road a bit less-traveled?<\/p>\n<p>If so, you should check out franchise ownership. If not, that&#8217;s okay. Owning a franchise business isn&#8217;t for everyone.<\/p>\n<p>And, it&#8217;s not like your success would be instant. If you think that you&#8217;ll have to flip burgers, or wake up at 3:00 A.M. to put donuts in the oven in order to own a franchise, you&#8217;re missing out on several other franchise sectors.<\/p>\n<p>(<em>To see examples of several different franchise sectors, go to the Franchise Direct <strong><a title=\"franchise direct franchise website\" href=\"https:\/\/www.franchisedirect.com\/industries\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">website<\/a><\/strong>.<\/em>)<\/p>\n<p>Now, if you want to own a food franchise, that&#8217;s fine. Nothing wrong with it. Just know <strong><a title=\"should you buy a food franchise\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/people-have-to-eat-should-you-buy-a-food-franchise\">what you&#8217;re getting into<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Another misconception:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;The franchise companies (franchisors) make all the money.&#8221;<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>A. Franchisors <em>do<\/em> make money. Sometimes a lot of money.<\/p>\n<p>B. Franchisees can make a lot of money, too.<\/p>\n<p>In a perfect world, the franchisor has an amazing business system set up, and all the franchisee has to do is follow that system. If both parties do their part both parties can make money. (<em>A lot of other things need to come into play-but franchising at its most basic level involves good systems with good franchisees implementing them<\/em>.)<\/p>\n<p>There are several misconceptions about franchising. And, as an added bonus, several franchise myths exist.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;Some people have the illusion\u2014because of buzzwords like \u2018turnkey\u2019 and \u2018business in a box\u2019\u2014that they turn the key and the franchise has everything set up and the money comes in. It doesn\u2019t work like that.
