One you feel you can make a success of in your town.<\/p>\n<p>This franchise seems to have everything (<em>so far<\/em>) you <a title=\"what you want in a franchise business\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/definition-of-a-franchise\"><strong>want<\/strong><\/a> in a franchise business.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It has a pretty low cost of entry<\/li>\n<li>There&#8217;s plenty of territory available near you<\/li>\n<li>You like the product\/service<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>But&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>It&#8217;s a brand-new franchise concept<\/strong>. There is no track record to speak of. You&#8217;re starting to think that you may be about to make a risky move. But, you <em>really<\/em> like the concept. You &#8220;<em>think<\/em>&#8221; you can make it work in your neck of the woods. You&#8217;re just not sure. You&#8217;re kind of confused about what to do.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/bicycle-1287232_640.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-19504\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/bicycle-1287232_640-620x413.jpg\" alt=\"not sure\" width=\"620\" height=\"413\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/bicycle-1287232_640-620x413.jpg 620w, https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/bicycle-1287232_640-320x213.jpg 320w, https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/bicycle-1287232_640-600x400.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/bicycle-1287232_640.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 620px) 100vw, 620px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Surely there must be something you can do to make buying this franchise less-risky. Right?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>New Franchise Opportunities: How To Do The Research<\/h2>\n<p>Warning: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/how-to-research-a-franchise\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>this<\/strong><\/a> is not going to be easy.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s because there aren&#8217;t many existing franchisees to call and\/or visit in-person, you&#8217;re going to have to use your gut instincts more than data. That&#8217;s because there&#8217;s going to be a pretty limited amount of data for you to use. You&#8217;ll also need to have faith. Here&#8217;s what you&#8217;ll need to do.<\/p>\n<p>1. Hit Expedia, Kayak&#8230;or whatever travel planning sites you like, and start looking for available travel dates and times. Once you have a few possibilities, contact <a title=\"headquarters\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/should-i-visit-franchise-headquarters\"><strong>franchise headquarters<\/strong><\/a>. Tell them you want to spend a week with their team&#8230;or at least several days. Furthermore, you&#8217;ll want to tell them that you want to learn everything you can about their operation&#8230;you need to see it in action.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, if they have a company store and\/or a franchise business close to headquarters, you need to tell them that you want to spend a day or two at those locations-for the same reason; to see things in action.<\/p>\n<p>I offer a couple more ideas on researching new franchises in the video I produced below.
