And you&#8217;re going nowhere fast.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"giphy-embed\" src=\"\/\/giphy.com\/embed\/SSESVcXxCoSoo\" width=\"480\" height=\"351\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/giphy.com\/gifs\/treadmill-SSESVcXxCoSoo\">via GIPHY<\/a><\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ve spent hours on end looking at <a title=\"top franchise websites\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/the-top-10-franchise-opportunity-websites\">the top franchise websites<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ve been contacted by at least 3 franchise coaches who offered to work with you for free.\u00a0Heck, you even decided to <em>work<\/em> with one of them for a while.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Until you found out <a title=\"franchise coaches\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/words-matter-a-franchise-coach-isnt-really-a-coach\">why<\/a> their services are &#8220;<em>free<\/em>.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>But still nothing. Ni\u0161ta. Niente. Nekas. You have yet to find a franchise that makes sense for you to purchase. <strong>Now what?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>You Can&#8217;t Find A Profitable Franchise To Buy<\/h2>\n<p>Let&#8217;s discuss this.<\/p>\n<p>The first thing you need to do is dig deep into the &#8220;<em>why<\/em>.&#8221; <strong>Why<\/strong> haven&#8217;t you been able to find one franchise opportunity you can sink your teeth into? Heck, do you even know <a title=\"how to buy a franchise\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/how-to-buy-a-franchise\">how to buy a franchise<\/a>?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/franchise-you-can-sink-your-teeth-into.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-21549\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/franchise-you-can-sink-your-teeth-into-620x477.jpg\" alt=\"sink your teeth into a profitable franchise to purchase\" width=\"598\" height=\"460\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/franchise-you-can-sink-your-teeth-into-620x477.jpg 620w, https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/franchise-you-can-sink-your-teeth-into-320x246.jpg 320w, https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/franchise-you-can-sink-your-teeth-into.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 598px) 100vw, 598px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I may have the answer-or answ<em>ers<\/em>. Here they are.<\/p>\n<p>1. You&#8217;re looking for &#8220;<em>perfect<\/em>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fact:<\/strong> There is no such thing as a perfect franchise. Remove that thought right now.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/yCTC95Wm6wk\" width=\"598\" height=\"460\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>2. You have unrealistic expectations.<\/p>\n<p>Now that you know that there is no such thing as a &#8220;<em>perfect<\/em>&#8221; franchise opportunity, it&#8217;s time to look at something else that may be preventing you from finding a <a title=\"money making franchises\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/abcs-finding-franchise-you-can-make-stacks-of-cash-owning\">profitable<\/a> franchise.<\/p>\n<p><strong>This:<\/strong> You may have totally unrealistic expectations of &#8220;<em>the money part<\/em>&#8221; of franchising.<\/p>\n<p>For example, let&#8217;s say that you&#8217;ve worked in corporate America for the last 15 years. You were making $120,000 a year. (<em>Before you were downsized<\/em>) That $10,000 monthly income you had wasn&#8217;t too shabby. And with the company match, you were able to build a pretty nice retirement fund.<\/p>\n<p>But now, you&#8217;re heading down a <em>very<\/em> different career path. One that necessitates financial risk in order to make a go of it. There&#8217;s something else you need to know.<\/p>\n<h3>The employee to employer transition is going to be a real eye-opener.<\/h3>\n<p>That&#8217;s because you won&#8217;t be getting a steady paycheck at first. As a matter of fact, you shouldn&#8217;t plan on making <em>any<\/em> money during the first year. The second year may be ugly, too. Are you prepared for that? I hope so. Because once you sign your franchise agreement (<em>which is a legal document<\/em>), <strong>you own that franchise business<\/strong>. There is no turning back.<\/p>\n<p>The Bottom Line: <strong>Franchise ownership is not the way to go if you&#8217;re looking to replace your income, quickly<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Are you prepared to <em>not<\/em> make money for a while?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Let&#8217;s Pause For A Moment<\/h3>\n<p>When you say &#8220;<em>profitable<\/em>,&#8221; what do you mean? Specifically?<\/p>\n<p>How much money do you need to make in order for you to call your franchise business profitable?<\/p>\n<p><b>$75,000 a year?<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>$100,000 a year?<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>$200,000 a year?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>How much?<\/p>\n<p>The reason I&#8217;m bringing this up is because you need to know ahead of time. You need to have your income goals laid out.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<em>Joel, I want to make $100,000 a year as the owner of a franchise<\/em>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Great.
