That said, I just came up with what I consider to be the top 10. Enjoy!<\/p>\n

  1. Franchising is the perfect business model for anyone<\/em> wanting to be their own boss<\/li>\n
  2. It\u2019s next to impossible <\/em>to fail as the owner of a franchise<\/li>\n
  3. Owning a franchise business<\/a> is less-risky<\/em> than starting an independent business<\/li>\n
  4. Franchise businesses are turnkey<\/em> businesses<\/li>\n
  5. Franchise businesses are actually businesses in a box<\/em><\/li>\n
  6. Franchise loans are much easier to get<\/em> than regular business loans<\/li>\n
  7. Franchise contracts are non-negotiable<\/li>\n
  8. Franchise brokers offer their services for free because they like helping people<\/em> start businesses<\/li>\n
  9. Business coaching franchises are popular because they’re low-cost<\/a> and franchisees don\u2019t need to have good sales skills<\/li>\n
  10. The International Franchise Association\u2019s leadership is quite balanced when it comes to who\/what they focus their lobbying efforts on<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

The franchise business model is perfect (good<\/em>) for people who are; very comfortable with a rigid rule-based business system, have enough money (a $300k-$350k minimum net worth<\/em>) to start a franchise, have enough patience (and money set-aside<\/em>) to make it through the first year or two of a business startup, and who have their family\u2019s support for becoming their own boss.<\/p>\n

    Here\u2019s the deal; a \u201cturnkey<\/em>\u201d business-at least to me<\/em>, sounds like a business you walk into, turn the key and observe-because “everything”<\/em> is not only set up for you-but it\u2019s done for you. Sounds kind of nice. Except there is no such thing<\/strong>. There is no business, franchise business or non-franchise business, that offers a business that you buy, but don\u2019t have to set up or run. So forget about it. It\u2019s
