In 2016, $66 billion was spent by pet owners in the U.S. estimates for 2017 put that number close to $70 billion.<\/p>\n

According to a\u00a02017 National Association of Realtors report<\/a>, homeowners are undertaking projects specifically to accommodate their pets.<\/em><\/p>\n

The desire of homeowners to make their pets comfortable has gotten so big, TV networks are even focusing on it. A new program titled \u201cAnimal Cribs\u201d recently debuted on Animal Planet. The show follows a designer and animal enthusiast while he and his team transform \u201chomes and outside areas into functional, high-style spaces for both pets and the people they love.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
