I interacted with Papa John’s<\/strong> founder, John Schnatter<\/strong>, once.<\/p>\n

Once<\/em>.<\/p>\n

I responded to a post of his on Facebook. It was about one of his cars, which I told him I liked. He responded back.<\/p>\n

I haven’t communicated with the founder<\/a> of this pizza chain since. Quite frankly, I haven’t wanted<\/em> to. Mostly because of his political views<\/a> and his brand’s issues<\/a>.<\/p>\n

With this in mind, Schnatter seems to have stepped in it again.<\/p>\n

From CBS<\/a> News:<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Schnatter acknowledged using a racial slur during a May conference call and apologized following a media report that also said the pizza chain founder had graphically described violence against minorities<\/em>.”<\/p>\n

Schnatter just resigned from his role as Chairman. He’s out<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Could this be good news?<\/p>\n

Papa John’s Franchise Founder Is Out: Will Franchisees Benefit?<\/h2>\n

Schattner’s resignation may actually benefit Papa John’s local franchisees.<\/p>\n

Scratch that. Franchisees will<\/strong> benefit, as his departure opens the door to higher franchisee profits. Less controversy means it’s uphill from here for the folks who have invested a lot of money to become Papa John’s franchise owners. After all, they just want to win<\/a>.<\/p>\n
