If you <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/definitive-guide-to-franchise-research\">ask them the right way<\/a>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Next, I need to tell you a few other things about <a title=\"about owning a franchise business\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/the-part-of-owning-a-franchise-no-one-talks-about\">owning<\/a> a franchise. Things that don&#8217;t have to do with <b>p<\/b>rofitability.<\/p>\n<h2>The Added Bonuses You Get As A Franchisee<\/h2>\n<p>First of all, if you become a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/how-to-buy-a-starbucks-franchise\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">franchise<\/a> owner, you quickly find out that profitability isn&#8217;t everything. It&#8217;s important, sure, but so is:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lifestyle<\/li>\n<li>Future growth opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Freedom<\/li>\n<li>Control<\/li>\n<li>Community<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Eventually, after you make it through the first (<em>tough<\/em>) couple years as a new business owner, you&#8217;re going to want to have a certain type of lifestyle. For instance, it may be a lifestyle you&#8217;ve always wanted to have, but couldn&#8217;t, because you worked for someone else.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to having the type of lifestyle you&#8217;ve always wanted to have,\u00a0 you may want to take advantage of the growth opportunities that are available <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/franchise-business-health-coverage-2026\">as a franchisee<\/a>. In other words, you may want to invest in a bigger space, or more franchise units.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/your-lifestyle.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-29067\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/your-lifestyle.jpg\" alt=\"franchising lifestyle \" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/your-lifestyle.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/your-lifestyle-320x240.jpg 320w, https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/your-lifestyle-620x465.jpg 620w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Then there&#8217;s the freedom you&#8217;ll have.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/franchisee-freedom-act\">freedom<\/a> (<em>eventually<\/em>) to come and go as you please.<\/li>\n<li>The freedom you&#8217;ll have to hire your nephew-because he really needs a break.<\/li>\n<li>The freedom to take a much-deserved long-weekend with your honey.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Because you can.\u00a0Because you&#8217;re the <strong>Owner<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>And let&#8217;s not forget <a title=\"have more control\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/freedom-and-con\">control<\/a>. The control you have over just about everything.<\/p>\n<p>(<em>Use your imagination<\/em>.)<\/p>\n<p>Finally, it&#8217;s important for you to know that when you open a franchise business, you impact your local community.<\/p>\n<p>Specifically, you add commerce. Jobs.
