Admit it; you’re focused on you.<\/p>\n

You’re focused on finding the franchise business<\/strong> that’s going to solve all of your problems. And, you’re very busy! You’re spending hours and hours visiting all<\/em> of the top franchise opportunity websites<\/a><\/strong>, hoping that you’ll find The One<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n

Among thousands<\/em> of franchises<\/strong>. That’s right; as you’re starting to find out, there are lots of choices in franchising today.<\/p>\n

First, you have to figure out which ones to look at. \u00a0Then you have to compare the franchises<\/a><\/strong> that you think are worth a look, so you can whittle your list down a bit.<\/p>\n

Once you’re done with your whittling, you’ll have to reach out to them, so they can send you their information. If you like what you see, you’ll soon be on the phone with the franchise development\u00a0representative, \u00a0learning more about the opportunity. If you’re still interested at that point, it’s time for you to do some research.<\/p>\n

But, not just any<\/em> research. You’ll need to learn how to do proper franchise research. You do<\/em> know how to do that, right? Really<\/em>? You’ve done this before?<\/p>\n

Well, just in case you’d like a refresher course on how to research a franchise<\/strong>….<\/p>\n

Once you’re done with that, if you like what you see and hear, you’ll probably pay a visit to franchise\u00a0headquarters, where you’ll spend some time with the executive team. They’ll be sizing you up, and you’ll be sizing them up. You’ll also get to see their operation in action. You’ll find out first-hand if they have a real\u00a0infrastructure\u00a0in place. (One that can support you<\/em>.)<\/p>\n

So far, so good. You’re right where you’re supposed to be. And, you’re probably nervous. You’re hoping that you didn’t forget something<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Have you thought about them?<\/h2>\n

<\/h2>\n

I’m serious; they’re probably a little bit nervous too.<\/p>\n

That’s right; they have to hope that you’re who you say you are. They don’t want any<\/em> surprises.<\/p>\n

\"Was<\/a><\/p>\n

Once they’ve become comfortable with you, they have a decision to make. And, it may turn out to be an expensive one.<\/p>\n

I’m not sure if you know this, but it takes a lot of money, time, and effort<\/strong><\/span> to turn a business concept…an idea, into a franchise<\/em> business.<\/p>\n

I’m not asking you to feel sorry for them. But, I do want you to read what I wrote about them in this post on Small Business Trends<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

You’ll find out where they’re<\/em> coming from.<\/p>\n
