You find yourself daydreaming about the possibilities. Some of them may include;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a title=\"quit your job and buy a franchise\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/do-you-hate-your-job-maybe-you-should-just-buy-a-franchise\">Quitting<\/a><\/strong> your nasty-ass job<\/li>\n<li>Spending more time with your kids<\/li>\n<li>Having the ability to save oodles of money for their college education<\/li>\n<li>Paying off <em>all<\/em> of your credit cards<\/li>\n<li>Choosing a franchise that feels right<\/li>\n<li>Cutting the ribbon during your franchise&#8217;s Grand Opening<\/li>\n<li>Seeing your customers lined up waiting to get in your store<\/li>\n<li>Owning <strong><a title=\"top multi unit franchises to own\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/great-clips-offers-great-opportunities\">multiple locations<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Retiring in a location that has&nbsp;turquoise-water<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.peaceandplenty.com\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-5992\" title=\"peace and plenty hotel\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/peace-and-plenty-hotel-320x212.jpg\" alt=\"peace and plenty bahamas hotel\" width=\"489\" height=\"323\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Or<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;re tossing and turning on a nightly basis. Because you&#8217;re freaking out. (<em>About the possibilities<\/em>.)<\/p>\n<p>Some of <em>these<\/em>&nbsp;possibilities&nbsp;include;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Having to stay in a job that makes you physically ill<\/li>\n<li>Choosing <em>the wrong<\/em> franchise business opportunity<\/li>\n<li>Blowing through your start-up money much faster than you <strong><a title=\"have a business plan\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liveplan.com\/partner\/thefranchiseking\">planned<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Obtaining a second mortgage just to stay in business<\/li>\n<li>Avoiding conversations concerning college applications<\/li>\n<li>Wishing for customers to appear inside of your store<\/li>\n<li>Losing your business<\/li>\n<li>Losing everything<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a title=\"Sad Loser! by Steve Weaver, on Flickr\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/steveweaver\/457997497\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm1.staticflickr.com\/243\/457997497_b952b99529_n.jpg\" alt=\"Sad Loser!\" width=\"280\" height=\"290\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>What&#8217;s Stopping You From Buying That Franchise?<\/h2>\n<p>Both&nbsp;scenarios above are possible when you take on something as big as business ownership. Not everyone is cut out for it.<\/p>\n<p>If you do enough things right, you have a shot at real success. If you skimp on things like <strong><a title=\"learn about franchising\" href=\"https:\/\/franchisebusinessuniversity.com\/\">due diligence<\/a><\/strong>, or you purchase a franchise that&#8217;s<em> clearly<\/em> above your financial comfort level, you can lose a lot.<\/p>\n<p>I purposely presented those extreme examples of what could happen if you choose to become the owner of a franchise.
