Now, about David;<\/p>\n

\nHe hosts RISE, a web show<\/strong><\/a> for entrepreneurs, forward-thinkers, business owners and marketers, as well as The Rise To The Top TV show on ABC<\/strong>. In less than two years, David has attracted a loyal community of 100,000+ through the power of relationships and without spending a cent on traditional advertising. To date, David has interviewed over 250+ of the world's most unique, interesting, successful and passionate entrepreneurs in the world.<\/p>\n

I "met<\/em>" David about a year ago. He had interviewed Anita Campbell<\/strong> about her website, and I really enjoyed it. I liked David's style. A lot.<\/p>\n

I got to know him even better about a month later, when he interviewed me<\/em> for his RISE<\/strong> show, via Skype. (Please don't tell him that I didn't have Skype when he gave me a two-week window to get ready for our interview. I don't want him to know that I was a little late to the party on that <\/strong>one…<\/em>)<\/p>\n

Since then, we have stayed in touch via our social media channels<\/strong>, and we help each other out by promoting each other's products and services, when it's appropriate.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

I think that I was the 114th person who contacted him to congratulate him on his book deal. He was so excited! It happened really fast for him, and he immediately starting punching his Mac-enabled keyboard.<\/p>\n

The book rocks.<\/p>\n

I received a complimentary copy several weeks ago, and I dug in.<\/p>\n

The really cool thing about his book is that it's written in a very loose, and very one-on-one way.<\/p>\n

I've done a lot of the same things that David's done in his <\/em>business, and that made me want to keep reading it.<\/p>\n

In his book, David writes about what he calls "the rookie mistake<\/em>" of expecting an exact<\/strong> road map, when starting a new business. It's just one of many "DAH!<\/em>" moments that he's managed to sprinkle throughout the book.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Video<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

David talks a lot about doing web videos. Now, in case you don't know, YouTube<\/strong> is the 2nd largest<\/span><\/strong> search engine…..right behind it's parent company, Google<\/strong>. Do you think your business should produce a few videos, and upload them to YouTube? <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Well, David sure thinks so, especially since his online content is distributed via video!<\/p>\n

Chapter 7<\/strong> of David's book is titled, "Tapping into the Power of Online Vide<\/strong>o." You'll learn about inexpensive ways to shoot and produce video content for your website or blog. David insists that you don't have to spend a lot of money on fancy schmancy equipment. He also doesn't want you to worry about pressuring yourself to make a video that's so good it will go "viral." He just recommends producing great, educational content for your target audience.<\/p>\n

There's a ton of great tips, and actionable advice in "Smarter, Faster, Cheaper. Non-Boring, Fluff-Free Strategies for Marketing and Promoting Your Business<\/em><\/strong>." Tons.<\/p>\n

It's a must-have book for entrepreneurs who want to win.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
