How much more can the American consumer take? This is getting ridiculous. It&#8217;s time for all of us to fight back!<\/p>\n<p>Would you like to find out what this is all about? Join me, as I explain&#8230;..<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>This is about marketing.<\/strong><em> Damn good marketing. <\/em>As a matter of fact, the executives at the Oak Brook, Illinois headquarters of what&#8217;s probably the most successful and dominant franchise business ever conceived, should be writing huge bonus checks to the entire McDonald&#8217;s marketing team, today!<\/p>\n<p>All of the hoopla over McDonald&#8217;s Happy Meals is a joke. It&#8217;s been suggested that including toys in those evil Happy Meals is just well&#8230;evil.<\/p>\n<p>                                                <span style=\"font-family: arial black,avant garde;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">CSPI<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>A group calling itself  <strong>The Center for Science in The Public Interest<\/strong> (<em>CSPI<\/em>) wrote the executives at McDonalds a letter stating that, \u201c<em>McDonald\u2019s marketing has the effect of conscripting America\u2019s children into an unpaid drone army of word-of-mouth marketers, causing them to pester their parents to bring them to McDonald\u2019s<\/em>.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>First of all, whoever thought up the name of this &#8220;<em>group<\/em>&#8221; isn&#8217;t playing with a full deck. It&#8217;s the most ridiculous anti-something group name I&#8217;ve ever heard. The Center for Science in The Public Interest? <strong>Huh?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #c00000;\">And don&#8217;t you <em>ever<\/em> call my kid an unpaid drone.<\/span><\/strong> Idiots. <em>She gets an allowance.<\/em> And she hardly ever asks to go to McDonald&#8217;s. She knows that <em>most<\/em> of the food there is not too good for her. She also knows that it&#8217;s fast. <em>(<strong>I&#8217;m usually the one<\/strong> suggesting a trip to the McDonald&#8217;s drive-thru, you freaking geniuses. And, Happy Meals weren&#8217;t even around when I was a kid. I just <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">love<\/span> their hamburgers and fries.)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, maybe the executives at McDonald&#8217;s <strong>do<\/strong> have <strong><span style=\"color: #c00000;\">a fiendish plot<\/span><\/strong> to destroy our children forever.<a title=\"mcdonalds happy meals\" href=\"\/does-mcdonalds-have-a-fiendish-plot-to-ruin-kids-lives\" target=\"_self\"><strong> Read this<\/strong><\/a>, and you&#8217;ll see what I mean. <\/p>\n<p>You also need to know about <strong> <\/strong>the fine article that was just written on <strong>PBS<\/strong>.org <a title=\"pbs website mcdonalds post\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pbs.org\/wnet\/need-to-know\/the-daily-need\/in-defense-of-the-evil-awful-happy-meal-toy\/4184\/\" target=\"_self\"><strong>in defense of the evil, awful Happy Meal toy. <\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In summation, <strong>the real reason<\/strong> that I&#8217;m proposing <strong>The December 25th McDonald&#8217;s Boycott<\/strong> is <em>because <\/em>of <strong>their marketing<\/strong>. Their franchise marketing is too good, and it&#8217;s unfair to all of their competitors. Boycott them! Toys with meals.
