Clocks from across the globe are set to GMT, and Greenwich is where, \u201c<em>Father Time<\/em>\u201d lives.<\/p>\n<h2>Why Are Top Franchise Executives Meeting In Greenwich?<\/h2>\n<p>They\u2019re trying to convince the timekeepers to add 11 more hours to what\u2019s currently a 24-hour day.<\/p>\n<p>Bill Wingding, CEO of a fast food franchise, is leading the charge.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<strong><em>It\u2019s getting ridiculous. My marketing staff can\u2019t keep up with everything that needs to be done with regards to social media marketing on a daily basis. They\u2019re getting cranky, and they\u2019re demanding more money for all the extra time they\u2019re spending at work. I\u2019ve had it. And, don\u2019t get me started on the franchisees; they really don\u2019t have time to Tweet. They\u2019re trying to run their franchises<\/em><\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Can You Relate?<\/h2>\n<p>Today&#8217;s franchisors are having a tough time managing their <a title=\"top franchise social media tips\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/top-10-tips-for-franchises-to-get-started-with-social-media-marketing\">social media marketing<\/a> campaigns.<\/p>\n<p>And, they&#8217;re really getting frustrated with the constant Facebook Fan Page monitoring that&#8217;s needed to stay on top of their brand. Combine that with 140-character content creation, and learning how to effectively use newer social networks like Google+&#8230;it&#8217;s a lot to manage.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>And, that&#8217;s at the corporate level.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>When it comes to<em> local<\/em> social media marketing activities, today&#8217;s franchisors are having a tough time convincing their franchisees that they need to become active on all of the social media networks, too.<\/p>\n<p>But, it\u2019s not because franchisees don\u2019t want to do it. It\u2019s because <em>they\u2019re struggling to find the time to do it<\/em>.<\/p>\n<h2>Solutions Are Needed<\/h2>\n<p>By now, most <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/franchise-executives-confidence\">franchisors<\/a> have bought into social media marketing.\u00a0They&#8217;ve\u00a0seen social media marketing campaigns work. They know that <em>not<\/em> having their brands deeply entrenched on all the major social platforms is not an option.
