Do you have a plan?&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Some people&#8230;when faced with a job they absolutely hate, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/buying-a-six-figure-job\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>get a new job<\/b><\/a>. It&#8217;s something I did-more than once.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Others look at non-traditional career moves. They look into becoming consultants. They look at buying existing businesses. Some look at franchise ownership. It&#8217;s nice to have choices. Unless you don&#8217;t. &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Your choices may be limited if you&#8217;re not in a position, financially, to go out and<strong> <a title=\"you can't buy a franchise\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/youll-never-be-able-to-buy-a-franchise\">buy a franchise<\/a><\/strong> business. If I&#8217;m describing you, I know it sucks, but you do have a choice. You can continue putting aside money. You can get a little more aggressive with your investments. (<em>Always check with <strong><a title=\"jeffrey kitzberger financial professional\" href=\"https:\/\/www.joinstratos.com\/advisors\/jeffrey-kitzberger-cfp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">a financial professional<\/a><\/strong> before you make any money moves.<\/em>)&nbsp;But if you<em> are<\/em> in a comfortable enough position, financially, to at least consider becoming your own boss, franchise ownership could be your ticket out.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Maybe You Should Buy a Franchise Since You Hate Your Job<\/h2>\n<p>Maybe you <em>should<\/em> take a serious look into becoming a franchise owner.<\/p>\n<p>Are you an executive who&#8217;s fed up with corporate politics? There are opportunities for you that you may not be aware of. <strong><a title=\"opportunities with a great clips franchise\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/great-clips-offers-great-opportunities\">Some franchise offerings<\/a><\/strong> specifically target folks with executive-level experience, but from the outside at least, don&#8217;t <em>look<\/em> like a business suited for executives.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fact:<\/strong> Lots of really talented people miss out on opportunities in franchising because they &#8220;<em>hear<\/em>&#8221; things from others.<\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-family: inherit;\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8220;<em>Don&#8217;t buy a franchise. The franchise company makes all the money<\/em>.&#8221;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"font-family: inherit;\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8220;<em>I knew a guy who lost all his money in a franchise<\/em>.&#8221;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"font-family: inherit;\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8220;<em>Why would you want to be in a business like that<\/em>?&#8221;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"font-family: inherit;\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8220;<em>Are you crazy? Franchises are <strong><a title=\"franchise scams\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/franchising-is-a-scam\">scams<\/a><\/strong><\/em>!&#8221;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"font-family: inherit;\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8220;<em>What are you going to do, flip burgers<\/em>?&#8221;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Tip:<\/strong> Read <strong><a title=\"myths about franchises\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/the-top-10-franchise-business-ownership-myths\">this<\/a><\/strong> 2-part article on franchise myths.<\/p>\n<p>Please don&#8217;t discount franchising because of things you &#8220;<em>hear<\/em>.&#8221; We all hear things. Especially when we&#8217;re about to make a major purchase. Make a commitment to yourself to get the facts about franchising&#8230;or anything major you may be about to do-<em>before<\/em> you walk away from an opportunity.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tip:<\/strong> Spend some time learning about franchising.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Franchise Facts<\/h2>\n<p>Here are a few franchise facts:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Some franchises probably do charge too much for their products, or for their support services. Maybe their royalties<em> are<\/em> a little too high, also. I can&#8217;t keep track of 3,000 different franchise offerings, so I&#8217;m not sure. Ask around.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>There are people out there who&#8217;ve claimed that they&#8217;ve lost all their money in a franchise. I&#8217;d wager that some folks really <em>have<\/em> lost everything. I&#8217;d also wager that some of them have exaggerated about &#8220;<em>losing everything<\/em>.&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>There are franchise concepts out there that may not look like something you would be even remotely be interested in owning. So what? Look at other ones.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>We<em> all<\/em> know people who have been &#8220;<em>scammed<\/em>.&#8221; It happens in franchising, too. Maybe they purchased a franchise that wasn&#8217;t a good fit for them. Maybe the franchise salesperson lied about something. Maybe they &#8220;<em>felt<\/em>&#8221; like they were scammed. If you know how to do great franchise research, you&#8217;ll be able to find out what really happened to people that have had to close their franchise businesses up.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>There&#8217;s a lot more to franchising than flipping burgers. A buddy of mine used to say that &#8220;<em>there&#8217;s more to franchising than burgers, donuts, and mufflers<\/em>.&#8221; He&#8217;s right.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>More Facts And How To Get Them<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/buying-existing-franchise\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">A lot of people own franchise businesses<\/a> they never thought they&#8217;d own. A lot of them are successful franchisees. They&#8217;re happy, too. Their &#8220;<em>I hate my job<\/em>&#8221; problems were solved. They got out.<\/p>\n<p>But, does buying a franchise, instead of just going out and getting another job, really solve the &#8220;<em>I really hate my job<\/em>&#8221; issue with <em>everybody<\/em>&nbsp;who ends up doing it?&nbsp;Of course not. There are unhappy franchisees. There are people who have invested in franchises who went out of business. It happens. It sucks.<\/p>\n<p><strong>FYI:<\/strong> There are a couple of ways to increase your chances of success as the owner of a franchise.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Purchase <strong><a title=\"franchise books\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/franchise-books-become-franchise-owner\">a book<\/a><\/strong> on how to become a successful franchise owner.<\/li>\n<li>Work 1-on-1 with<strong><a title=\"work with the franchise king\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thefranchiseking.com\/franchise-friend\"> me<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The information is out there. Really. Good information.<\/p>\n<p>After learning about franchising, you may decide that it&#8217;s not for you.
