Mayo believed that there was a niche between those two extremes that Mr. Appliance could fill. So far, his bet has paid off: Sales have grown from $143,000 in 2011 to $325,000 last year. He employs three technicians and is hoping to add a fourth this spring<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kiplinger.com\/article\/business\/T012-C000-S002-jump-start-your-career-with-a-franchise.html\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Mayo found a niche. <i>His<\/i> niche.<\/p>\n<p>Can you?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Pizza Pizza<\/h2>\n<p><a title=\"Pizza_052 by rob_rob2001, on Flickr\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/59247791@N08\/5505415842\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Pizza_052\" src=\"https:\/\/farm6.staticflickr.com\/5095\/5505415842_fde80a41be_n.jpg\" width=\"320\" height=\"234\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nHere\u2019s an idea; instead of poking around every pizza franchise that\u2019s currently being offered in North America (<i>to find the perfect one<\/i>) take some time to sharpen whatever instrument it is that you\u2019re using to do the poking, and do what I\u2019m about to suggest; <strong>find a niche<\/strong> in pizza.<\/p>\n<p>Now, assuming you&#8217;ve sharpened it, you now have a sharper instrument with which to poke; let&#8217;s see if you can find a business that focuses on only <em>one<\/em> segment of the vast pizza market.<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s do it together.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Start From The Top Of The Mountain<\/h2>\n<p>What can be served with Pizza?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Appetizers<\/li>\n<li>Salad<\/li>\n<li>Chicken Wings<\/li>\n<li>Beverages<\/li>\n<li>Dessert<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Is there anything that jumps out at you from that list? Are any of those products (<i>by themselves<\/i>) being addressed by the pizza market-or any part of the food-service franchise segment?<\/p>\n<p>Go to a <a title=\"pizza franchises from fd\" href=\"https:\/\/www.franchisedirect.com\/foodfranchises\/pizzafranchises\/80?utm_source=Joel-FranchiseKing&amp;utm_medium=CPC&amp;utm_term=&amp;utm_campaign=King2012\">franchise portal<\/a> or franchise directory and find out!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>From The Middle Of The Mountain<\/h2>\n<p>Now, let\u2019s look at <a href=\"https:\/\/mentalfloss.com\/article\/30126\/7-different-types-pizza-around-world\">what types of pizza pies<\/a> are currently being served.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Like:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Traditional pizza<\/li>\n<li>Healthy pizza<\/li>\n<li>Gourmet pizza<\/li>\n<li>Deep dish pizza<\/li>\n<li>Thin crust pizza<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Are there any <strong>niches<\/strong> there? Are there any pizza franchises that <em>specialize<\/em> in those pizza types?<\/p>\n<p>And, if so, are they doing a bang-up job? Should <em>you<\/em> look into any of them? Is there room for you?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>From The Base Of the Mountain<\/h2>\n<p>Are you starting to look at pizza in a different light?<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s poke the pizza franchise segment a little more.<\/p>\n<p>How are pizzas being <i>sold<\/i>?
