I think he was in agreement with me about the sheer number of new franchise brokers (<em>and brokerage&#39;s<\/em>) that are overtaking the number of actual franchise opportunities available to mankind. <a href=\"\/franchise-mathematics-how-many-more-franchise-broker-networks-do-we-need\">Read<\/a><\/p>\n<p>***************************************************************************************************<br \/><a href=\"\/franchise-mathematics-how-many-more-franchise-broker-networks-do-we-need\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The next topic we discussed was the launching of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.franchiseonlineuniversity.com\">Franchise Online University.com<\/a><\/strong>. It&#39;s not a &quot;<em>university<\/em>,&quot; at all.<em> (I just liked the name. It has rhythm. <\/em><strong>I don&#39;t<\/strong><em>.)<\/em> <\/p>\n<p><strong>Franchise Online University.com<\/strong> is a web destination for would-be franchise owners to<strong> learn<\/strong> <strong>about what franchise ownership really entails<\/strong>. I&#39;ve set it up so that after &quot;<strong>students<\/strong>&quot; take the <strong>Free<\/strong> &quot;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.franchiseonlineuniversity.com\">Introduction To Franchising<\/a>&quot; course, they&#39;ll <em>really<\/em> be able to decide if they should spend some of their valuable time selecting a few franchises to investigate.<\/p>\n<p>Most folks think that <strong>selecting a franchise business<\/strong> or two to look into is an easy thing to do. The problem with that assumption is that there are over 3,000 different choices in the US. <\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.franchiseonlineuniversity.com\">I can fix that<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Then there&#39;s that darn franchise <strong>research<\/strong>. (<em>Which almost nobody knows how to do<\/em>) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.franchiseonlineuniversity.com\"><br \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.franchiseonlineuniversity.com\">I can fix that<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>******************************************************************************************************<\/p>\n<p>So, I told Nick about my &quot;university.&quot; He thought that it was a good idea. He shared a discussion that he had with a rather outspoken franchise attorney who freely shares his distaste for franchisors on a franchise site that Nick and I used to comment and post on frequently.<\/p>\n<p>This attorney told Nick that he&#39;s been trying to educate prospective franchisees for years, and that in general, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">they didn&#39;t want to get educated<\/span>. They wanted to be sold. <em>Sold<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>I was super-surprised when I heard that. (<em>Actually, I crawled into my little franchise corner, put my crown on, and smashed my head into the franchise wall for a couple of minutes<\/em>.)<\/p>\n<p>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/thefranchiseking.typepad.com\/.a\/6a00d8341ca59e53ef0133ed0dc118970b-pi\" style=\"display: inline;\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Crownwall1\" class=\"asset asset-image at-xid-6a00d8341ca59e53ef0133ed0dc118970b \" src=\"https:\/\/thefranchiseking.typepad.com\/.a\/6a00d8341ca59e53ef0133ed0dc118970b-120wi\" style=\"width: 136px; height: 101px;\" \/><\/a> <br \/> Ouch.<\/p>\n<p>After all, I just created what I thought was <em>a masterpiece<\/em>. I spent hours and hours designing three content-laden franchise courses for <strong>Franchise Online University.com<\/strong>. My courses were going to save lives! (<em>Ok. They <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">aren&#39;t<\/span> going to save lives, but they may save folks some major future headaches $$<\/em>.)<\/p>\n<p><strong>What should I do now?<\/strong> I was planning on using some of the proceeds from my courses for my daughter&#39;s education!
